The primary aim of this project which partners with Gathering Together is to get disabled people off the streets and rehabilitated to be productive. According to their ability, youth are later placed in schools, colleges offices etc for an internship and are often absorbed by the institutions. Many choose to stay on as staff at Home Sweet Home.
Meals are provided to the homeless on the streets and the disabled are invited to come to the center.
The home has vocational units, bag making, embroidery motifs for bags, T Shirts etc, making stuffed animals, make a special blend of filter coffee, with hand selected beans got from across the world which is roasted there. like embroidering logos for clothes, bags etc, which are sold. Gathering Together helps sell their products.
There are around 40 adults including a staff of 10, of whom 5 were former residents. The home is currently managed by Gerie and Ruth de-Patter.
