Made for More (MfM)

Gathering Together – South Africa is happy to announce our new partnership with Made for More. https://madeformore.org.za

Made for More (MfM) is a non-governmental organization that aims to include, empower and equip people with disabilities through sport.

MFM has been invited to compete in a para surfing competition in Pismo Beach, California, USA in December 2021. This is a huge honor as they will be the first South African para surfing team to compete in the US.

How can you help?

Donations can be made via PayPal on our donation page.
This donation will be US  tax-deductible.

You can donate in South Africa at https://madeformore.org.za/donate/ Of you need a SA 18a certificate.

Donations will go towards travel expenses, food, lodging, and event costs.

Or, if you are in California or have contacts in California that can provide transportation for the team or food vouchers/discounts, every bit helps.

Currently, the number of travelers is 27:

– 13 surfers (including 7 wheelchairs)
– 6 staff (coaches etc)
– 8 family members of the surfers
